My name is Rowan Seymour and I’m a 27 year old computer programmer from Northern Ireland.

Background

I studied computers at Queen’s University and had a work placement year in San Diego, California. It was there I became a Christian at a Vineyard Church. When I got back to Belfast, I got involved with a local church called City Church which I still attend. Since then, I’ve completed a PhD in Audio-visual Speech and Speaker Recognition, worked as a software engineer, and done a Discipleship Training School with Youth With a Mission Ireland.

Future

I will be shortly going to Rwanda to work with Partners in Health. My job will be to mentor local computer programmers so that they have skills to develop and maintain an electronic medical records system, built using OpenMRS.
