R.I.P. Canon 50mm f/1.8. We had some good times together.
It was in my rucksack. I was sitting perched at the top of a tall rocky crag on Wee Binnian. I pulled my coat from my rucksack. It fell out of my rucksack. It bounced down the rocky crag. It broke into several pieces.
I did get some good shots with another lens, including the nice HDR shot below, and did have a great weekend in the Mournes with mates from church.
Maybe I can tape it up and sell it on eBay…

sorry to rub it in but, i bought a lens
and a 400D canon on saturday !!!

Yeah well I’ve ordered a Sigma 50MM 2.8 .. with 1:1 Macro so there! I am tho slightly jealous of your new 400D and fancy lens!!
