Am aching all over today from doing skirmishing yesterday for Jonny’s stag do. Skirmishing is basically outdoors laser-quest, with massive heavy rifles and camouflage gear. We were up on the hills behind Belfast with rain, sleet and gale force winds. Spent most of the day jumping into gorse bushes and ditches…but it was a lot of fun!
We were promised snow last week but none came. England and Wales got 10-15cm of the stuff, which made headline news. The newsreaders and weathermen even had the cheek to call it “bad” weather. It would be nice if we had even one day of nice snow this year.

we’re meant to get snow tonight, starting at 1am. you can have it. come promptly to collect it as I don’t wish to see the sight of it in the morning. Ugh! A winter without snow would be a brilliant winter indeed, but even the winter I was in belfast had snow (and quite a bit of it too)!

I’d trade passports with you in a heartbeat–but I fear we might get caught.
It took me more than an hour and a half this morning to scrape the five inches of ice off of my car (while the car was running trying to melt it) so that I could come to work. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. You can have it. Maybe I’ll even send you some with the Mt. Dew.
Meg.
PS. I’d much prefer orange fanta and cadbury chocolate over guiness.
