Found this gem of a quote by Katie Price (aka Jordan) in Heat magazine…
Take away politics and religion for world peace. I don’t know anything about any of it, but it just seems to cause problems.
Our office rest area has a mixture of electrical engineering magazines, and trash like Heat and Now! Nobody reads the electrical engineering magazines.
She has pretty much summed up Richard Dawkin’s The God Delusion, though unlike Dawkins, she is humble enough to concede that she doesn’t know anything about any of it.

…sometimes. They are the worst magazines ever…so we joke about how sad people must be to read them…whilst reading them

Nice quote, nicer picture! Is she really being humble in suggesting we get rid of politics and religion? And do we really need to know a lot “about” politics/religion to know it’s not good?

Hey Andy – I doubt she has thought about it too hard…but at least she can admit that. It would be a very different world without politics or religion…anarchy

According to the hier-archy (the ones who think really hard), perhaps. But in my opinion what really gets in the way of clear thoughts about religion and politics is all the heavy “thinking” about it.
