In the past few days both my watch and my iPod shuffle have broke. My digital watch is stuck on its “demo mode” so the screen alternates between the current date, the time in Caracas, Venezuela, and a random telephone number. My iPod is, according to iTunes, corrupted and all my attempts to fix it just give error messages. One small positive is that when I press “play” the lights make a nice flashing pattern… though I would rather it played music like it used to.
Yesterday a doctor told me I have a stress problem. I need to be nicer to myself. Maybe lay off the coffee a bit. Try eating at least one portion of fruit and veg per day.

I don’t know if it works with a shuffle, but if you can completely reformat/restore the device, it might work again. It worked with my iPod — which someone kindly programmed to show a sad face when it didn’t work.
According to President Reagan, ketchup is a veggie, so you should have no problem getting one a day!!

Hey Megan. I’ve tried that from iTunes and it just gives me error messages.
At least I have an excuse now to buy a new watch.
Think I’m gonna try vitamin pills

Thanks!! That worked – I was previously using the restore function in iTunes which didn’t work.
Just don’t tell me how to fix my watch cuz I’ve got my eye on a new one and my current broken one is about 10 years old and tattered

watch fixing isn’t my strong point — and I’d never get in the way of someone going shopping for something they really want!
