Whether it’s Boris Johnson talking about healthy food or Jack Straw talking about Muslim veils for women, it makes headline news anytime a politician says what most people are thinking but are afraid to say for fear of the Political Correctness police getting them. I can’t see anything wrong with Mr Straw stating that he prefers to talk to people when they don’t have their faces covered as I personally don’t like talking to men wearing balaclavas. I think he raises a very good point when he says that such a dress code makes inter-community relations a lot more difficult.

Why is it so offensive to question aspects of Islam when everyone will be happy to give their 2 cents on the Catholic Church’s stance on unbaptised babies?
