Most blogs start with a suitable amount of hype. I’m hoping to avoid that. I’ve been reading an very funny book recently called The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass. To quote the first few lines…

Saturday, December 14th:
Feel led to keep a diary. A sort of spiritual log for the benefit of others in the future . . . Can’t think of anything to put in today. Still, tomorrow’s Sunday. Must be something on a Sunday, surely?

So no hype. I’m convinced most blogs are written not because people have something to say, but because they want to be heard. I’m going to put my thoughts here from time to time, and maybe someone will find them worth reading. If not, at least I’ll have something interesting to read in 10 years time.

This is me, a 25 year old Northern Irish Christian, trying to work out what to do with my life and finish a PhD in Automatic Speech Recognition. Hello.
